Marnie -

I absolutely LOVE the red marking pen idea! Such a great visualization!! I was using the stop sign image quite often as that reminded me to stop those thoughts. But I started thinking about that I didn't believe that visualizing stop was helping me process the thoughts so I changed it to a Yield sign. Now I Yield, analyze the memory, adjust my course accordingly and pull ahead, leaving the sign in the dust.

Of course, it's a lot more fun when I visualize myself in my 1965 Red Mustang Convertible!! :)

Myra, I've struggled with one for the last four or five months, but after a particularly bad day, I just dropped it. I told myself to walk away, stop thinking about it, and keep moving forward knowing that I am enough. Now when those thoughts creep in I imagine a big red marker drawing a circle and a slash through the images, and I smile. I love my edit pen! By the way, when the memory is involving people who have hurt me, I envision them in clown shoes with a clown nose. I start smiling every time. It's magic.

Thanks for the comment. I appreciate that you "cannot subscribe" to my entire strategy. You are not meant to. I write this blog based on my opinion of items I've read/heard or seen. My goal is to encourage readers to take the subject at hand and think about, just as your response indicates. Again, thanks for checking in and leaving a comment! I enjoyed reading your perception.

I'm glad you enjoy it.

May I ask how, through Bing, you found me? Was it a particular search word or topic?

Thank you!

Hi - unless I am not understanding what Facebook link you are looking for, there are two buttons for Facebook on my posts. One is directly below the post and the "Like this" button and the other is to the right of the post underneath the Subscribe by RSS Feed button and the Subscribe by Email buttons.

If there is another button that I am missing, please share that with me. I'd be happy to research adding anything I don't have.

Thanks for asking!! Hope you enjoy the posts!
